Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which one is easier to apply Eyelash Extensions, Individual Flares or Strip Lashes?

A: Most easiest is Strip Lashes which could be applied personally only last for one night or few days, Individual Flare Lashes could be applied by professionals and could last up to 3-4 weeks when using VICTORUS adhesive GOLD, normally takes 10-20 minutes to apply, with the flares you could create the look you desire because you could put less flares to create a natural look or more flares to create a fuller, thicker dramatic look as you so desire compare to the strip lashes.

Eyelash Extension has to be applied professionally they come in different curls J, B, C& D and it tend to last between 6-8 weeks when using the VICTORUS DIAMOND OR VICTORUS GOLD adhesive with normal fill ups in between 2-3 weeks, normally takes 60-90 minutes to apply them.

Q: Are you allergic to latex (which adhesive will be the best for me or my clients)?

A: Our Gold & Diamond Adhesive has no latex in them which sometimes people are allergic to, for our flare lashes we recommend using our Gold adhesive which will give them a bonding power up to 3 weeks, For longer lasting  glue and faster & quicker drying time for the Eyelash extension we recommend using our Diamond adhesive/Platinum adhesive

Q: How do I remove my eyelash extensions or false lashes?

A: We have specially made our silver gel remover which works very well in removing our VICTORUS Gold, Diamond, Platinum and Premium adhesives so we recommend using our remover with our glues

Q: Why new packaging?

A 1: We still have the old packaging in blue we just introduced another packaging which mainly goes out to beauty professionals, the product quality is still the same nothing has changed to it from the survey we carried out we realize beauty professionals/beauty salons do not use the clam shell and the card which is used by our stockiest to clearly showcase the product on display that is why we came to the conclusion.

A 2: Secondly our product quality is still the same we just added another packaging to help reduce carbon in the environment and since we offering FREE NEXT DAY DELIVERY GUARANTEE service to our customers we reducing the unnecessary volume on the packaging as much as possible which is of no benefit to the beauty professionals except to our stockiest to showcase the products for retail purposes

Q: Can I wear mascara or coating sealant with eyelash extensions or false lashes?

A: Yes you could, with the VICTORUS MASCARA/VICTORUS COATING sealant helps prevent from dust & moist and it gives the lashes a more thicker & vivid look and more stronger bonding power of the glue on the lashes.

Direction to Wear False Eyelashes

Types of Eyelashes

False eyelashes are available in three types: Regular strip, Individual flares or individual singles.

Regular Strip Lashes

These are pre-made eyelash extensions in an attached strip. They are the most noticeable type and provide a flirtatiously fake appearance. Best for an evening look, they tend to be the easiest to use and offer the quickest application.

Individual Lashes

Here is a competing technique that uses ‘‘cluster’’ of ‘‘flare’’ lashes. Confusingly, some salons and spas are offering these under the name ‘‘lash extensions’’.  ‘‘Clusters’’ or ‘‘flare’’ lashes can be done in less than half the time of true extensions, and often cost much less.  However, these little groups of 4-6 hairs should never be applied with the semi-permanent adhesive used for true lash extensions.  To do so often causes severe loss of natural lashes.  This happens because these groups of hairs pull at the natural lashes from several different directions at the same time.  Cluster lashes can be perfectly safe to use, provided they are attached with adhesives that are worn for one day only, but it is misleading to refer to them as ‘‘extensions’’.  If a salon or spa is advertising ‘‘eyelash extensions’’, the lashes applied should be single, individual hairs.

*Individual Flares

More natural looking than the strips, they tend to be smaller and shorter. A halfway version between the longer strips and the individual lashes, they can be used to add a subtle flare to your lash line or combined for an allover eyelash extension.

*Individual Singles

The most natural type of eyelash extension. They provide a similar concept to a hair extension for your locks. Individual strands are often used in mascara ads to create a lush and longer lash appearance for the models. They are applied directly to your existing lashes to lengthen and add volume. For the most natural appearance, choose a mix of brown and black colors, and short ones for inner part of eye and long ones for outer part of eye.

Before Applying False Eyelashes

You will need: small scissors, free standing magnifying mirror, eyelash glue, tweezers, and eyeliner or eye shadow brush with a small round clean end, cotton pads, a small piece of aluminum foil or plastic sheet for the glue, and a tooth pick.

Consider the look you want to achieve. Eyelashes come as either a full set to provide a dramatic and glamorous look, ideal for evening, small clumps which are applied to the outer edge of your lid for a subtle understated but well groomed look or as individual lashes to infill spaces and give a lighter look. They come in different shades so a natural look to match your own lash color is possible.

Choose a color that complements the occasion. For evening, stick to black (or dark brown if you have pale lashes), which adds drama without requiring mascara. In the daytime, go dark brown (light brown or blond if you have pale lashes) for a natural look.

Make sure all oil is off your eyelids. You could use a Toner-Astringent with tissue or a thin washcloth to remove all oils after cleansing.

If you like, you can mascara your natural eyelashes before applying the false ones – top and bottom because somehow it seems to make them look even more natural.

Do a patch test first before applying either type of lashes to check you're not allergic to the glue. The last thing you want is red eye, especially before a big night out.

How to Trim and Apply

How To Apply Regular Strip Eyelashes

1. After removing lash from tray, hold it at both ends with your fingers and bend it several times in a "U" shape to get it flexible

2. Look into a mirror, either on the wall or placed on a countertop .Bring lash to eyelid as close to your lash line as possible, following its natural curve, start from the outer corner first, making sure they are the right size for your eyes and not too big. Then, press in place. If lash is too long, remove it from eyelid and trim with scissors along the outer edge. Adjust the lashes with your fingertips.

IF LASHES ARE TOO WIDE FOR YOUR EYES: Lift one eyelash out of the box. Holding it with both hands at the ends of the lashes, place it up to your eyelids next to your own lashes. You will most likely find the eyelashes are too wide for your eyes. Snip off a few hairs at one end and test it again. It is important not to have the false lashes too wide because the ends will stick into the eyelid and feel very uncomfortable and irritating! When cut and applied correctly, you will not even know you have them on. Now trim the other pair to match.

IF THE LENGTH OF THE LASHES ARE TOO LONG: The lashes may be too long also… so trim the length shorter –not too much – you can always go back and cut more later. Point the end of the scissors into the tips of the eyelashes and snip into the lash. Do not cut across in one swoop as you do not want an even cut…they look more natural when uneven.

3. Use the stick in the glass, or a tooth pick if a stick is not provided, to apply a thin coat of lash adhesive along the edge of the strip lash.

4. Wait several seconds to allow the glue to become "tacky", looking down into the mirror, place the lashes as close to your own as possible, following the natural curve along its length. Adjust using tweezers or finger tips while the glue is still pliable then apply lash to eyelid. Note: White adhesive will become clear once it dries. After applying both false lashes, blend your natural lashes into them. You can do this with your fingers or a small eyelash or eyebrow brush or an eyelash curler.

Let the glue dry, then apply eye makeup. You may find your new lashes dramatic enough without mascara, so take a good look in the mirror first. If needed, you could apply a dark eyeliner to camouflage the line of the fake lashes and then apply your mascara. The mascara will help blend your own lashes with the fake ones, and make your eyes look fuller and larger.

How To Apply VICTORUS Individual False Eyelashes

1. Using a VICTORUS tweezer, remove the individuals from its tray.

2. Using a victorus tweezer, dip the base end of the lashes into the glue. Or you may want to pour a small drop onto a victorus jade stone or a victorus crystal stone and dip the lashes onto the drop of victorus glue.

3. Then place the lashes as close to the baseline of your own as you can, filling in wherever you want the greatest impact (generally, the mid to outer lashes look fabulous with false lashes). Press gently, but firmly with something blunt like your finger tips. Hold the lash in place for several seconds until the glue has a chance to hold. Apply 10 to 16 lashes per eye.

Removing False Eyelashes

1. Remove false eyelashes before you go to bed, using a warm compress or makeup remover.

2. Use makeup remover or a cotton pad soaked in warm water. To remove, gently peel false eyelashes band off lid, starting at outer corner. If you have difficulty put a little vaseline/petroleum jelly on the base of the lashes and wait until they become loose. Its very tempting to just pull them off but you may pull some of your own lashes out at the same time.

3. To clean false eyelashes, place them on a counter and put a few drops of water over them. After a minute or so the glue will be easy to pull off of the strip. Let dry and store the lashes on the original tray and packaging, so they do not lose their shape and you can reuse them.

Tips

1. Apply a dark liner to the eyelash line to make the effect more natural.

2. Small clumps of false lashes trimmed to your natural eyelash length and applied spaced out along the lid can give a natural but very effective look, particularly for daytime wear.

3. If the fake eyelashes are too long, you can trim them so that they look more natural. But, don't trim them while they are on your eyes. At best, you might cut off your own eyelashes, and at worst, you might injure your eye. Don't risk it - trim the eyelashes before you put them on.

4. For a more dramatic effect, apply eyelashes on the bottom of your eyes as well.

5. Try to attach the false eyelashes as close to your real lashes as possible.

6. Go easy on the glue so that it does not build up on the false eyelashes or clump up your real eyelashes and leak into your eye. A thin strip across the band should do it. You can remove excess glue with a cotton bud once the lashes are in place.

7. Never apply glue directly to your eyelids; it may get into your eyes.

Warnings

1. If eyelash glue gets in your eyes, take the eyelashes off and wash your eyes out. After drying the eyelashes, you may be able to apply them again.

2. Use the least amount of glue necessary to avoid accidents.

3. Use clean eye lashes, tweezers and other accessories to avoid contamination

4. Never use someone else’s old eyelashes without sanitizing.

5. Theatrical lashes can include glitter or other decorative touches. This glitter can sometimes get into your eyes.
